Colonists never became rich finding gold, so they made tobacco then they became rich. Can you believe it , even in 1608 and 1609 more settlers, including WOMEN arrived!  When they built there colonie, they made it the shape of a triangle. The reason they went to the indians is because they wanted to trade. That is all i have to say if you want to know more about James Town, Than go there!
